Eligibility for Admission

Any graduate (10+2+3) from any recognised university of India or equivalent with 50%, SC/ST 45% marks on the aggregate is eligible to apply. This is also to note that appearing candidate cannot apply for admission He or she must already be in possession of the degree & the mark sheet. The candidates enjoying any other course simultaneously with the B.Ed. course are not eligible, Admission will be granted on the basis of Marks obtained in previous examination as well as interview and group discussion of 40 marks. Selection for admission made in no case will be challengeable.

Duration of course

The course is of one year duration student must be prepared to attend classes from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM demonstration and criticism classes will be Held twice in a week.

Medium of instruction

A suitable combination of English & Hindi will be used as a medium of instruction.
In examination any scriot can be used except in language subjects. Thus the medium of instruction and examination for English method will be English and that for Hindi method Hindi or as per the provision of University.

The filled up admission form alongwith required enclosures must reach by registered post to The Principal Jharkhand Teacher’s Training college, Jhumri Telaiya, Koderma or may be submitted to the college office personally on or before

How to apply

  1. Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form which may be had from the college office counter on cash payment of Rs. 600/-. And the same can be obtained by post to send a D.D. of Rs. 750/- in favour of JTTC payable at Jhumri Telaiya, Koderma.
  2. Application received on or before the closing date only will be entertained but after the closing date will be out right rejected. The same will be the fate of the incomplete application too.

The relevant documents to be submitted alongwith application form are the photo copies of:

(a) Matric/ICSE/CBSE/Certificate & Marksheet.
(b) Intermediate +2 marksheet
(c) Degree marksheet
(d) Caste certificate in support of belonging to a schedule caste/scheduled Tribes/other Backward class from a competent authority.
(e)Original CLC/ULC at the time of admission and admission of any candidate will be provisional and may be cancelled if any discrepancy will be found or the candidate shall fail to comply with the rules, regulations and other conditions as laid down by the college.

75% of lecturers are essential to be attended otherwise such candidates who will not fulfil the required percentage will be debarred from appearing at the final B.Ed. Examination. This condition will stand for those candidates also who do not show satisfactory progress in their studies besides good character in and outside the college. The students name is liable to be dropped from the rolls. If he/she is contiually absenting for more than two weeks without having prior permission. Re-admission fee will be charged if re-admission is granted.

In case if a candidate fails to report on due date and produce the required document, fee etc. His claim for admission will not stand any further. In such vacant seats will be allotted to other sin order in merit.

Rules and regulation are to be followed quite strictly. The college however reserves the right to refuse admission of any candidate without assigning reason.


Any candidates admitted to this college shall have to sign a form of bond containing the code of conduct to be furnished by the office. Any violation of code of conduct will justify the expulsion from college.

Reservation

There is provision for reservation to all castes as per the norms of Jharkhand Govt./U.G.C./Central Rule if required.

Fee & deposits

As per Univ. Rule/Govt. Rule/ NCTE as per decision of Management Committee within the preview or as per the rules & regulations of the University.
(I) For Gen./OBC category.
(il) For SC/ST category fee may be revised from time to time as per rules of NCTE/University.

Prospectus and application form may be obtained from the concerned college office personally on all working days on payment of Rs. 600/-for Gen/OBC by post 750/- by a crossed demand draft issued by any Nationalised Bank in favour of Jharkhand Teacher’s Training College payable at Jhumri Telaiya, Koderma

As per rule of University/Govt. /NCTE any other direction of state.

Length of Courses

The course is of one academic year duration, starting from 1 st July. There shall be at least 150 teaching days in a year exclusive of period of admission, examination etc. Besides, every trainee shall be required to undergo internship-in teaching (including practice teaching and skill development) for at least 30 days in a year by Secondary/Senior Secondary school.

Intake

Only 100 students will be admitted in one Academic year in each college imparting B. Ed. education
